6 min read · 2026-07-07

Batch IDs, purity results, and what to verify before you trust a certificate.

A certificate of analysis is useful only when it maps to the material in hand.

Checklist

  • Confirm the batch / lot ID matches your vial
  • Review identity method (often LC-MS / mass confirmation)
  • Review purity method (often HPLC)
  • Note the testing lab and date
  • Keep the COA with your order records
  • Authenticated customers can access COA documentation from product and order surfaces where available.
